The MFAC3000 is a fixed machine with a hydraulic positioning system; a patented system with an automatic diamond wire rewinder (store bin), a revolving table to align the cutting line with a control console, 190° rotation of the hand-wheel unit to work on the cutting plane at different angles, from horizontal to vertical, load cell for automatic wire-break control.

All functions, which are easy to use and adjust, are controlled through a mobile control panel.
It needs no rails, so it needs no time-consuming or complicated positioning procedure. It can work in compact areas, taking up approximately one quarter of the space normally required for any other machine.

As it can be used in compact areas, it reduces the hazardous area and is safer for the quarrymen.
It can square multiple blocks in a sequence in the quarry yard, without any need to move the machine or blocks around.

The “exposed” area of the diamond wire is remarkably reduced, which increases safety.

EASY TO HANDLE AND POSITION, WITH NO RAILS
Once in place on the quarry yard, using simple forks or special hooks, the new MFAC 3000 by Apuania Corsi will not move. A set of hydraulic jacks, located under the machine body, act as stabilisers for easier installation.

BLOCKS CAN BE CUT AT ANY ANGLE
Another innovation is the motor unit moving around its vertical axis, so the marble blocks on the yard may be cut across 340°.

UP TO 12-METRE DIAMOND WIRE REWINDER
Unlike traditional machines, where the diamond wire is pulled back as the machine moves back along the rail, in this case the machine does not move and the wire is rewound by an internal rewinder system.

LESS EXPOSED WIRE = MORE SAFETY
In other words, such internal rewinder system, which exposes a minimal part of the wire, remarkably increases safety should the wire break up during the process.
